And yet in the pilot episode, she did so many stupid things that lead me to believe she just thinks she’s an amazing detective. The acting also hasn’t blown me away yet and I’m hoping that this, along with everything mentioned above, might change as it goes on. Nancy Drew is a poor shadow of the character from the books or indeed the last two movie adaptations. Instead, we got a very light shade of grey that left me extremely disappointed.
